Pendle Business Week starts with ‘Communication & Teamwork’ workshop at the ACE Centre in Nelson.
A brief introduction that covered topics such as: non verbal communication, what makes people tick, meaning & positive intention, motivator modes and personality types. Plus: addressing conflict, communication instructions clearly, direct & indirect communication and team productivity.
An interesting learning session, was heavily interactive. Non of the attendees are going to win any awards for their drawing skills – as can be seen by the results of the effective communication exercises! (Describing a picture verbally to others, without actually saying exactly what it is … !).
