CHRISTMAS IN COLNE

• 10 am – 7.30 pm Festive Market along Market Street.
• 10 am – 7.30 pm Fun fair rides in Hartley Square.
• 10 am – 4.00 pm FREE Face painting in Colne Library.
• 10 am – 1.00 pm FREE Craft, activities and story telling in the Library.
• 10 am – 2.00 pm Malkin Morris & the Roughlee Ruffians dancing around Colne Town Centre
• 10 am – 12(noon) Barndoldswick Brass Band performing under the Market Canopy.
• 10 am – 3.00 pm Santa’s Grotto in the Colne Market Hall.
• 10 am – 4.00 pm Crafts and selfie stall in the Colne Market Hall.
• 10 am – 4.00 pm Christmas Biscuit Decorating in the Market Hall.
• 12 (noon ) – 3 pm Santa’s Grotto in The Arcade. (Free. Photo’s allowed. This has been arranged by the traders).
• 12 (noon) – 4.00 pm FREE Donkey rides by the Library.
• 12 (noon) – 1.00 pm Matchbox
• 1 pm – 3.00 pm Darwen Brass Band performing under the Market Canopy.
• 1 pm – 4.00 pm Punch & Judy in the Market Hall.
• 2 pm – 5.00 pm Oakenhoof Clog Dancers performing around Colne Town Centre.
• 3 pm – 4.30 pm Burnley Silver Alliance performing under the Market Canopy.
• 3 pm – FREE Christmas film in the Library
• 5 pm – Start assembling for the parade (at The Crown Hotel)
• 5.30 pm Colne Torch Lit Parade starting from The Crown Hotel.
• 6 pm – 6.15pm Singing and entertainment from some of the cast of ‘Aladdin’ (starring in the Muni Threatre;s panto in January).
• 6.45 pm Helen Green Dance Academy performing in Hartley Square.
• 7.00 pm Fireworks finale.

Note: Traders at The Arcade have also arranged a number of events to support the Christmas in Colne Event – free children’s crafts, lucky dip, activities plus a Santa’s Grotto in The Arcade from 12-3 pm.
