Radio Interview at 2BR due to be broadcast today (Saturday 29th September) to promote the Preston to Burnley M&S, 22 mile fundraising walk in aid of two charities focusing on Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Radio interview with Julie Sala and the inspirational local football legend Lenny Johnrose.
The walking team this year is about 80 strong, which more than double last year and consists of staff from multiple NHS hospitals alongside their friends & family. They include staff from the Colne District Nursing team, Royal Blackburn Hospital, Royal Preston Hospital and Liverpool Hospital.
The walkers will arrive at the Burnley branch of Marks & Spencers at 4 pm on Sat 29th. Certificates will be presented to them by Lenny and the Mayoress of Burnley. Come on down … the 80 strong team of walkers we would really value your support.
