Barrowford Festival is a family event, normally held in July every year and features a live music stage, fresh food stalls, bars, kids entertainment and activities and other fun things for the family to enjoy. The aim of the festival is to raise money for good causes including the three schools who man their entry gates, the Barrowford Parish Council, Pendleside Hospice and their chosen charity for this year – MIND. The busier the festival the more money they can raise for these good causes.
