Pendle Hippodrome Youth Theatre – promoting ‘Summer Holiday’

On Sat 1st Feb 2020, members of Pendle Hippodrome Youth Theatre were out and about promoting their forthcoming production ‘Summer Holiday’.  Our local youngsters braved the icy cold wind to perform a few songs & dances at local supermarkets … bringing a smile anyone that was lucky enough to see them. Their production of ‘Summer Holiday’ will be showing at the Pendle Hippodrome Wed 19th Feb – Sat 22nd Feb (7.30 pm daily etc).

They performed at a number of supermarkets – Asda (Colne), Booths (Barrowford), Lidl (Colne) and also at Boundary Mill Stores.  If you were in the area at the time, you wouldn’t have been able to miss them as they were ferried from location to location by a vintage bright red double-decker London bus.

Having missed them at Asda, we managed to catch up with them *just* as they were leaving Booths in Barrowford but we managed a little impromptu photo shoot on the bus prior to heading off to Colne Lidl.  Following that, they performed outside Boundary Mil and afterwards they were given some free drinks vouchers for the Boundary Mill Cafe … and quickly scatted to collect their hot drinks!
