Comic Colne 2019

Comic Colne is an independent event organised by traders in the Colne Market Hall. It is now in its 3rd year and has been growing in popularity year on year.

Comic Colne will be taking over the Colne Indoor Market again and bringing a fun filled day to our local town.

There will be plenty of attractions, competitions and cos players, as well as many trader stalls.  Attractions include: Superheroes, Star Wars, games, quizzes, fancy dress competition, food , bouncy castle , face painter , slime making and so much more! 

All things Super Hero and geeky related … from Batman to Star Wars , Dr. Who to Captain America!!! Look out for the 5th legion too! 

This is a FREE event organised by the traders of Colne Markets Lancashire.

Activities

• • Fancy Dress Competition (2 pm)
    3 age groups: up to 7 yrs, 8-16 yrs and 17+ yrs.
  • Face Painting – opposite the bike shop (Colne Market Hall)
  • Slime Making – next to the butchers
  • Pin on the bat on Batman game – Centre stall  (Colne Market Hall).
  • Pokemon Hunt – starting at Saints Dragonz stall (Colne Market Hall)
  • Tombola – Pet Shop stall (Colne Market Hall)
  • Name the Spiderman – KP Crafts stall (Colne Market Hall)
  • Raffle for Captain America  – KP Crafts (Colne Market Hall)
    (This is a 20×18 inch handmade cross stitch of Captain America containing over 92,000 stitches! Proceeds to BK’s Heroe’s & Brandon Craske Playfoot. Raffle tickets are £1 each.)

Colne Library will be participating in Comic Colne! There will be entertainment and activities all day.

• Films will be shown throughout the day (Times: 10 am, 11.20 am and 1 pm).
• Create your own superhero cuffs (Times: 10 am – 12.30 am and 1.30 pm – 4 pm).
• Design your own superhero.
• Design your own superhero cape.
• “Bat cave” reading area (Times: 10 am – 4 pm).
