Colne Market Hall: Items from a few pence to £91,000 !
Market Hall: Colne Tools
Whilst we we out photographing Santa & his Elf in the Grotto, we stumbled across what is probably Colne’s most expensive piece of art … well, at least, for sale in at Colne Tools in the Market Hall! This really made us smile.
Geoff Crambie, Freeman of Colne, was also lurking around and decided to splash out on his own style of art … an old style photo.
Market Hall: Card Corner
The Card Corner, quite aptly in a corner of the Market Hall, sells a massive selection of cards – pretty much for any occasion. Again, what caught our eye were the posters advertising “Colne” cards. We’ve seen them before, but just couldn’t resist having another look!
Market Hall: Santa’s Grotto
Santa’s Grotto … the traders really have done a great job here and with all the background support work (e.g. purchasing & wrapping of presents for the children). Many thanks to Kathryn from KP Krafts and Toni from J&Ts Goody Grotto for all the wrapping etc! Not forgetting, of course, the Market Hall staff.
The Pilgrims Progress book was loaded to Santa’s Grotto by The Samaritans Bookshop.
