Barnoldswick Beach – 2018

Thursday’s on Barnoldswick Beach means fun with the Donkeys as well as the usual ‘beach’ activities for the children.

Barnoldswick Beach is organised by Barnoldswick Town Council and staffed by *many* volunteers.  This year, it runs from 30th July to 24th August 2018.  County Councillor David Whipp is a regular sight at many events and this one is no exception – he grafts daily alongside a whole team of volunteers who try to make your visit as enjoyable & memorable as possible.

Activities include Donkey ride, Punch & Judy shows, a surf machine, a town centre treasure hunt, face painting, various crafts & activities, dance etc.  Some of these activities are rotated, depending on the day of the visit – so be sure to check! The expected schedule is contained in the pictures of the flyers, below.

If you haven’t been to ‘Barlick Beach’ before, there is a short registration form to fill out. Entrance is free, but the organisers request a £1 donation (or more if you’re feeling generous). These donations help the Town Council continue to put on events for the public.

Of course, this year, Barnoldswick has competition from the ‘Foulridge Beach’ …. more on that later …
