Colne Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club have presented Hattie with a Honorary Membership and a complimentary t-shirt.
Hattie performed in the Remembrance Day service as bugler for the past 7 years – many may be surprised to learn that her first performance was at the age of 10! That’s a lot of pressure for a such young lady and here you can already see a proud mum.
Today, however, the Veterans paid tribute to her commitment to the club and to Colne by making her an Honorary Member. They handed over a certificate and a Colne AFVBS t-shirt which has been embroidered with a bugle & her name.
It’s fair to say, that not many 17 year olds can command such respect and I think the actions of the Colne AFVBC speaks for us all. Well done Hattie – it’s certainly well deserved & you have all our respect!
Veteran Iain Hodgen said,
” You are welcome to attend the club and have breakfast with us anytime.”
