Sacred Hearts RC school treat their Year 6 leavers to a day’s worth of fun in Colne!
Year 6 will be leaving the school in the next few weeks, so teachers took the leavers on a day’s worth of celebrations – games & a picnic in Alkincoates Park, the afternoon roller skating at Earnie’s and, after break at home to get ready, an evening meal at Riley’s Bar. For the meal, they were accompanied by parents although the parents & children were having ‘separate’ parties!
Teachers at Sacred Hearts RC School on the picture at Earnie’s are – Mrs. Stinchon, Mrs. Gardener, Mr. Webb, Miss Hephrun and Mrs. Thompson. Well done to those teachers … they had their work cut out as there were 30+ children in attendance! But the teachers were super organised and made it all look like a breeze! They even braved the skating rink themselves! It was quite clear that everyone had a fantastic time!
