A new charity to raise funds to care for MND patients
A successful day of raising awareness of MND and vital funds for monitoring equipment & education and research – all of which will benefit people affected by MND and their families in the local area.
Staff from the Lancashire & South Cumbria Care and Research Centre had a stall inside the Burnley branch of Marks & Spencers (M&S). Plenty of information on MND, a raffle and sweets & balloons for the kids. NHS Staff from the MND Care Centre, including Consultant Neurologist Dr Chhetri, and other local based NHS staff manned the stand and also packed bags for customers.
